- Author initials, then surname; italic font, centered alignment. If authors are from different organizations, superscript numbers 1, 2, 3 are placed after surnames.
- The name(s) of the organization(s) should be written in full and abbreviated (in parentheses), city, country, centered alignment.
- Abstract; 10 pt.
- Keywords; 10 pt.
- Author information: full name of each author, position, degree, title, e-mail, 10 pt.
Level 1 heading: lowercase letters, bold font, centered alignment.

Each figure is placed in a separate paragraph, with the figure caption in the following paragraph. In-text references to each figure and table are mandatory.
Formulas are created using the MathType formula editor (or the one built into Microsoft Word) with default settings. Pay attention to the keyboard layout: Latin characters should not be replaced with visually similar Cyrillic ones, and Greek characters should not be replaced with Latin ones; check the placement of superscripts and subscripts.
References are listed at the end of the article in alphabetical order by author surname (first in Russian, then in a foreign language) and are not numbered. Surnames, article titles, book and journal titles are given in the original language without abbreviations. In-text citations are made by author surname with year: (Vinogradov et al., 1977a, 1979; Degtyarev, 2005; Watson et al., 1988).
Photographs, graphs, diagrams, etc. must be submitted as SEPARATE graphic files.
All labels in figures must be in Russian.
All axes in graphs must have labels and units.
File requirements:
- Raster (photographs, satellite images, color and black-and-white screenshots) must have a resolution of at least 300 dpi (*.tif, *.psd, *.bmp, *.jpg, *.png);
- Vector (graphs, diagrams) created in programs such as Grafer, Statistica, MathLab, Excel, etc. (*.ai, *.eps, *.wmf, *.emf, *.pdf), save (Save as command) or export (Export command) to a vector format. If the program does not support Cyrillic, all foreign labels must be translated into Russian in the figure caption.
The article file should be named after the surname of the first author in Russian (Ivanov.doc).
Figure files should be named: surname of first author_fig_number (Ivanov_fig_1.tif, Ivanov_fig_2.eps)
A PDF file of the fully assembled article (with illustrations and figure captions).
Layout corrections are submitted in the provided PDF file as comments in AcrobatReader.
Expert review for publication of the article in the proceedings, or written permission from the head of the organization (on letterhead, with signature and stamp) to conduct an expert review at IKI RAS, if the work was co-authored with IKI RAS staff.
